Iskina Cebu and the non-existence of its Paya Lebar branch

13 Aug

We just spent about two hours walking all around in search of the promise of lechon in Singapore that we read about in a blog.  We followed directions as per Google Maps, even if common sense dictated that we could perhaps cut the distance by using one of the Paya Lebar MRT exits instead of going around. We went to Geylang East Avenue 3, finding ourselves at a gritty industrial complex. We passed through the side building and saw a canteen. But alas, an eatery serving roasted pork looked very out of place at a halal eatery. And yet we walked some more. After a few more Googling, we realized that perhaps Iskina Cebu’s Paya Lebar branch did not exist at all.

It just sucked that it took us more than two hours of walking around to find that out.
